Is there another way to make money?

Like many people, I've felt the squeeze of inflation lately even though I have a steady job. With costs rising across the board, I realized I needed to explore options to diversity my income with some supplementary cash. I've always had a goal of building my hobby making videos into something that can generate revenue. When a friend of mine told me he was earning solid money through Amazon's affiliate program, I decided it could be a good way for me to work towards that goal of additional income from my passion projects.

I looked into different affiliate programs and ultimately chose Amazon Associates since it's a major, well-known company. So far, the process has been pretty straightforward - I signed up for an account and figured out how to access my unique affiliate links. I haven't run into any major obstacles yet but need to spend more time familiarizing myself with the program.

My plan is to share my Amazon affiliate links through my existing website and Instagram account where I already have a following. I have a blog on my website where I can organically work links into relevant posts. Instagram will be trickier since you can't use clickable links in captions, but I can get creative with the link in my bio or finding natural ways to mention products I recommend.

If anyone has successfully used Instagram or Facebook to promote Amazon Associate links, I'd love to hear your tips! I'm still new to the world of affiliate marketing but am optimistic Amazon Associates can help me work towards my financial goals and dream of earning income from my creative projects.
